Hi there! Today I’m sharing some recent items I’ve purchased for fall. A few of these pieces I have or I’m awaiting their arrival and a couple are still just lingering in my cart. I haven’t decided on the floral dress, the felt hat or the pumpkin color sweater, but everything else is here or on its way. Tell me what fall finds you’re adding for the changing seasons!
Floral Dress
This is one I have’t purchased yet. I love the color and pattern of this one. The only somewhat negative review is that it is too short to be worn as pictured. I think it depends on how tall you are. It would be cute worn with leggings. I would wear a pair of bike shorts under it if I was concerned about the length. I also think it would look nice with tights and tall boots. Lots of options on how to wear it and lots of colors available too.
Felt Hat
This is another find that I haven’t decided on. I love the heathered texture, color and small trim detail. I chose this hat because it looks like the brim isn’t too wide. since I have a smaller head so a large brim hat is too much for me. This one isn’t adjustable which is why I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll be ordering it. One review says it was big so if you have a larger head or thick hair, this one may not work. I love the style so I may just try it and look for an alternative too.
Blue Crossbody Bag
I’ve already shared this bag a couple of times so you know how much I love it. I don’t have this color yet, and I think it’s such a pretty blue. The price is so reasonable, I may just have to add this one to my collection!
Quarter Zip Pullover
This is a great top! I received it a week or so ago. I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet but it’s going to be perfect for fall. The color is a pretty soft blue/green. The fabric has a lightweight french terry feel. I sized up to a medium as the cut is a bit narrow. I wanted a longer length as well. There are two options for either a front pouch pocket or no front pocket. I opted for no pocket so I didn’t have any extra bulk. Also comes in many colors.
Stripe Dress
I love this dress! I have worn this one a few times this summer. It is really flattering and so comfortable. The v-neck is long enough to show pretty necklaces without being too low cut. The top button is functioning and the rest are stitched close so there is no gaping. The elastic waist is hits at your narrowest point so its very flattering. I’m 5’3″ and the skirt hits a couple of inches above my ankle. Many times maxi dress styles are too long for me, so this one was a great find. When the weather gets cooler, I’ll wear a colorful cardigan sweater over it to take me well into the fall season.
Stripe Button Down Shirt
This shirt is a good one! The crisp blue and white stripe is such a classic. The fabric has a silkier feel than cotton fabric so it drapes beautifully. The fit is so good. It’s a bit oversized, but the cut is narrow so it doesn’t look boxy. I plan to wear this with leggings and jeans. It has pockets too! It has the look of mens classic dress shirt but a more feminine cut. It’s a winner! Comes in lots of colors too.
Tunic Sweater
This sweater is still in my cart but it’s such a pretty look, I’m sure once it cools off a little more, I’ll order it. I love this pumpkin color. I don’t own a single thing in the color, but I keep seeing it everywhere this year, so I may have to give it a go. It appears to be an oversized look but it seems to be shorter so I won’t feel swallowed up. Available in many other colors.
Long Sleeve Dress
I’m so excited for this dress to come in! It is VERY similar to a more expensive and rarely available Free People dress. It has vertical pintucks on the front and back for a slimming look. This dress will look great with leggings too. Comes in several colors.
Black Pants
I bought these pants last spring. I lost in my closet and I just recently found them again. What a versatile pair of pants! They have stretch like a legging but aren’t tight with an elastic drawstring waist. They have a silky feel and they are very comfortable, perfect for travel, light exercise or they can be dressed up too. Many colors available.
