Holiday Style

Happy November! I feel once November rolls around, it’s full steam ahead straight to January. Do you feel the same way? We have a few getaways planned this month, so I think the month will fly by for sure!

I’m starting to look ahead to the Christmas season and all the pretty things that go with it. I’ve compiled a couple of different styles for holiday decorating.

The first one is the glam, snowy Christmas look. Lots of creamy whites, brilliant golds and a snow, flocked tree.

Next is the traditional Christmas style. Bright reds and greens layered on top of green trees and garland.

Last for this round, is the fun, festive look. This is so fun for families with smaller children. It’s like jumping right into Candy Land!

What is your favorite holiday decorating style? I can never decide, so in the last few years, I’ve gone with the traditional look as our main tree with all of our cherished ornaments that we have collected over the years. My family loves to see them come out each year and remember where they came from.

I also have a flocked tree in our dining room with the prettiest twinkle lights and mercury glass ornaments. It casts such a beautiful glow at night. I love seeing all the magical twinkle lights this time of year, so I try to add them to every room we spend time in.
